I have participated in several hackathons both as a university student and full time product designer. Here are a few projects that I am proud of.
Microsoft Global Hackathon 2024: GameForgeAI
A hackathon project I worked on to empower aspiring game developers create their first game with the help of natural language processing. I designed website layout and interactions, as well as a "brainstorming mode" where the AI asks you questions to help generate your first game. As a pixel artist myself, I made sure our platform encouraged human-made sprites in a friendly and simple pixel art editor, rather than using AI generated assets.
Microsoft Global Hackathon 2022: MicroCode
Our team developed a kid-friendly, icon-based, structured code editor and programming language that runs on micro:bit, an inexpensive physical computing device for CS education.
I was in charge of the code editor's visual direction, including pixel art icons, UI, and animations.
